Welcome to St. Julian Eymard’s School of Religion

St. Julian Eymard’s School of Religion (SOR) offers a child-centered religious education program steeped in the traditions and scripture of our Catholic faith. Through the study of basic teachings, the Holy Bible and participation in prayer and service projects, students are invited to grow in their own spirituality and see how God is present in the every day. Each level of the program, while reviewing material from the previous year, will focus on a specific theme of study. The curriculum of SOR aligns with the standards of the Archdiocese of Chicago including particular emphasis on knowledge of creed, sacraments, Christian living, scripture, liturgy, prayer, the Catholic Church, parish life, ecumenism and dialogue.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” —3 John 1:4
