Funerals

Steeped in centuries-old tradition, Catholic funeral rites express our Christian belief in eternal life.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” —John 14:1

St. Julian’s Bereavement Ministry assists the deceased person’s family with planning a funeral Mass. Bereavement Ministers are scheduled through the office, so please contact, or instruct your funeral home, to contact the Parish Office (847) 956-0130 or funerals@stjulianeymard.org to discuss arrangements.

Alternately, you may complete the Funeral Arrangements request online and the Parish Office will then coordinate with the family contact and a Bereavement Ministry team.

The Bereavement Ministry team will then arrange a family meeting to guide you in planning the funeral liturgy. We believe that nobody in our St. Julian family should grieve alone.
